Fishmeal made from freshly caught whole fish, mainly of the species Sardina plichardus, in the Atlantic Ocean (FAO Zone 34, Central Eastern Atlantic), off the coast of Mauritania. The fish undergoes a process of cooking, pressing, drying, cooling, grinding, packaging and storage, keeping all its nutritional properties intact. It is produced under strict quality controls. Stabilised with authorised and organic antioxidants (BHT, BHA) to prevent oxidation and the burning of fats during transit. The product is a characteristic light brown colour and has the distinctive smell of fresh fish, with no rancid odour. USES It is an important source of protein for the manufacture of animal feed in the early stages of pig, poultry and aquaculture farming. The product should be stored in its original packaging, in a cool, dry place, away from with insects, birds and rodents. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Shelf life 12 months from date of manufacture under the storage conditions indicated. Packaged in 40kg PP bags - 1000kg Big-Bag. QUALITY CONTROL Each consignment must be accompanied by the corresponding nutritional composition certificates: 1. Analysis report issued by ONISPA (Mauritania's national office for health inspection of fishery and aquaculture products) 2. Certificate of origin issued by the customs authorities 3.
