Akbari pistachios, a cherished product of Iran, have been exported worldwide for over 2500 years. As one of the most economically significant agricultural exports in Iran, Akbari pistachios thrive in diverse climatic conditions, growing at elevations ranging from 500 to 2200 meters above sea level. These tall trees endure icy winters and scorching summers without requiring excessive water.

Akbari pistachios are a rich source of healthy fats, including essential fatty acids like oleic, linoleic, and linolenic acids. They also contain essential minerals (calcium, magnesium, potassium, srus, copper, etc.) and vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, etc.). Notably, Akbari pistachios boast the highest kernel-to-shell ratio, comprising approximately 49% to 50% of the total weight.
