1121 is a long-grain aromatic basmati rice variety that is known for its extra-long, slender grains that elongate at least twice their original size when cooked, resulting in a soft and fluffy texture. It is a semi-dwarf variety with a sturdy stem and plant height ranging from 110â120 cm, and an average yield of 4.5â5 tonnes per hectare. The grains are around 8.05â8.30 mm in length.
