The processed shea kernels can be used in a wide range of applications. These trees grow naturally in the Northern region of Ghana. The shea trees are part of regional flora and there is no need for plantation and deforestation. They are presently environmentally sustainable. Estimates of Annual Production The local region can produce annually about 5000 tonnes of shea nuts.
