SOYBEANS

Soybeans are a widespread product known in the third millennium BC. Food soy is characterized by the following features that make it so popular:

-High productivity;

-High (up to 50%) content of complete protein;

-The presence of vitamins of group B, iron, calcium, potassium and essential polyunsaturated fatty acids (linoleic and al-linoleic acid);

-The possibility of preventing osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases, as well as some hormone-dependent cancers;

-Does not contain cholesterol and has an extremely low content of sodium and saturated fats;

-Has the properties to produce a wide variety of diverse products from it.

In this regard, soy has often been used as a cheap and useful substitute for meat and dairy, not only by low-income people, but simply by people who, for various reasons, refused meat, for example, vegans. Also, soy is part of the feed of young animals. Soybean meal is widely involved in the meat and dairy industry and is part of many meat products.
