We would like to introduce our company as supplier of Dates from Pakistan. Nutricia Foods International (PVT) Ltd. has been processing and exporting dates for the last twenty years. We have been exporting dates to U.S.A., Canada, U.K., Germany, Denmark, Australia and Japan. Pakistan grows around 650,000 MT of dates. The main date growing areas are Sukkur and Khairpur in Sindh. The main commercial varieties of dates grown in Pakistan are Asseel, Begum Jangi, Carba, and Turbat Mix. We can offer all these varieties in pitted or un-pitted form as per buyer’s specifications. We mainly process a unique variety of dates, Asseel which is favored in baking and cereal use. This special variety offers a longer shelf life and has a delightfully sweet taste when baked. We offer following grades Select ( US grade B )– Large size, length 30 m.m min., width 20 m.m min., fully fleshed without any blemish or broken skin . Used for repacking in retail packs. Good Average Quality (GAQ) US grade C - Medium size- Length 25 m.m min., width 20 m.m. min. Fully fleshed. Used for re-packing in retail packs for home cooking and baking. Fair Average Quality (FAQ) - Small size or semi fleshed. Mainly used for industrial purpose like chopping for use in Muesli and for industrial baking. Industrial Grade— Small size, broken skin, de-shaped, mashed etc. Used for chopping, sauce making and paste making. Chopped Dates- 10x10 mm or 5x5 mm dices coated with dextrose or rice flour Packing. For bulk packs, we can offer pitted dates in 10, 20, 22 and 25 Kg. Corrugated cartons h polythene bags. Our Dates are characterized by very low pit content (1 pit per 1000 dates as compared to an allowance of 2 pits per 100 dates given by U.S.D.A. and CODEX) and they are completely free of metal as each pack is checked by a metal detector.
