- Hoa Loc sweet mango is a famous specialty mango of the Mekong Delta, one of the main fruits of Tien Giang. Hoa Loc sand mango is a specialty fruit of Tien Giang province, and is the first fruit product of the Mekong Delta to be granted geogracal indication protection.

- A mango year has two seasons, the favorable season is from March to May, the negative season is from October to December. Mango can bear fruit after 24 months of planting, average weight 450-600 gr/fruit.

- Fruit shape is oblong, round body, clear navel waist, pointed apex, round gourd near stalk. The peel when ripe is bright yellow, thin, covered with a fine white powder. The flesh of the fruit is bright yellow, thick, firm, smooth, flexible, low in fiber. The taste is very sweet and mild.
