Handling and Storage
Precautions for safe handling
Handling in a well ventilated place. Wear suitable protective clothing. Avoid with skin and eyes. Avoid formation of dust and aerosols. Use non-sparking tools. Prevent fire caused by electrostatic discharge steam.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Unopened vials of acetylcysteine sodium solution should be stored at 15-30 deg C. Following exposure to air, solutions should be stored at 2-8 deg C to retard oxidation and should be used within 96 hr.
