DESCRIPTION:
RMA ADELA Shortening is a premium quality shortening made from fully refined palm oil and its fractions. It has been texturized with low specific weight to impart good plasticity, smooth consistency to facilitate mixing, ease of use, good leavening and tenderizing effect in all dough based products. This product is formulated with specific range of solid fat profiles and melting profile to suit different climatic conditions and different applications. It is also high oxidative stability fat. It offers a smooth consistency that facilitates mixing and may also be used for frying.
 CHARACTERISTIC:
Shortening is a palm-based shortening that is non-hydrogenated, trans fat free and cholesterol free. White Fat at room temperature, and melting to clear white to yellowish liquid on heating. Bland in taste, smell/odor and suitable for any formulation of bakery.
INTENDED USE:
Shortening is designed especially used in the baking, biscuits, breads, cookies, cream fillings, instant noodles, confectionery industries and many other bakery products, also in cake preparation.
INGREDIENT:
Shortening is from 100% Palm oil and it does not contain any genetically modified product. Emulsifiers, antioxidants and other ingredients are generally added into our shortening, depending on customer requirement.
STORAGE
It is essential to store shortening in the original packing in a cool and dry place, at room temperature. It should not be exposed to bright daylight and be stored away from odoriferous materials.
SHELF LIFE:
Shelf life 18 months from date of manufacture when stored in unbroken packaging provided that the storage conditions specified are observed.
PACKAGING:
Shortening is moulded into heat sealed Polyethylene bags and packed in cartons of 15 Kgs, 16 Kgs, 20 Kgs and 25 Kgs. Other packing types are also available on buyerâs request.
