AboutS 17 Teja Chilli: S 17 Teja chilli is considered to be the Kings of all Indian chillies. It has a long history. S 17 Teja chilly was first cultivated in 1944 in the coastal regions of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh borders in India. Later with the continuous efforts and scientific research the cultivation and yield was increased to a better extent. Gradually due to S 17 Teja chilli significant factor of being very hot and yummy, it became the first choice of the domestic consumers. As the time passed away, S 17 Teja red chillies became the most popular and wanted variety of chilli in International market. Presently annual production of S 17 Teja Chili is 1,50,000 metric tons, out of which 70% is being exported worldwide from India. Teja Chili is mostly grown in Andhra Pradesh, Karantaka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh & Gujrat states of India. The harvesting season of S 17 Teja Chili is from December to March every year.
