1. Standard â 567g:
a. Blemishes: maximum 1 slice /can.
b. Mashed: maximum 1 slice / can.
c. Excessively trimmed: maximum 1 slice / can
d. Split: maximum 1 slice/can.
e. Total defects: maximum 2 slices / can for the standard.
f. Core material: maximum 6.8 % of the drained weight.
2. Standard â 3050g:
a. Blemishes: maximum 2 slices / can.
b. Mashed: maximum 2 slices / can.
c. Excessively trimmed: maximum 4 slices / can.
d. Split: maximum 2 slices / can.
e. Total defects: maximum 4 slices / can.
f. Core material: maximum 6.8 % of the drained weight.
- Liquid shall have pale yellow color.
- of slices per can shall not be less than 6 slices in the 567g can size and 35 slices in the 3050g can size.
- The drained weight shall not be less than 53 %.
b. Chemical Properties:
- Acidity of syrup shall be in the range 0.2 % - 0.5 % calculated as citric acid anhydrous.
- Density in (Brix) shall not be less than 18% and 3, 45-3, 85.

1. Packing \ Size:
- The product will be packed in clean, hygienic, suitable & dry tin cans with the following sizes:
* 24 cans x 567 g: Drained Weight: 300g / can
* 06 cans x 3050g: Drained Weight 1600g / can
