Today, Gradely Estate is at the heart of the Ceylon Cinnamon Corporation, working across an 800 acre co-operative that strives to provide fair, community focused True Cinnamon production. Founded in 2002 when 30 acres of disused estate was purchased by founder and Chairman Aaron Russell-Davison, Gradely Estate has grown into an established plantation. It’s name was seen on an old sign on the land and a year later, a few acres of cinnamon were found in Gradely’s jungle. For the next 6 years, Aaron and his team methodically planted cinnamon across the property. As a vertically integrated company offering wholesale, retail and luxury value addition, our Co-Operative provides a good alternative to the traditional sales options available to local farmers. As the company continues to carve a place for itself, demand for Ceylon Cinnamon and awareness of its health benefits grow, the corporation’s dream of bringing True Cinnamon to the world is fast becoming reality. Now, Gradely Estate has created a range of products, under its own distinctive branding that takes inspiration from the tools of the trade, from pure Ceylon Cinnamon, to infused teas and coffees and the opportunity to spend time at the Estate itself learning the secrets of this indigenous spice from those that know it best.
