Cassava flakes(Garri)

In West Africa, especially Nigeria, Garri is the powdery food material flour made from the tuberous roots of the cassava plant, which in the process of its manufacture is changed into dry edible granules.

Flour foodstuffs mixed with cold or boiled water are a major part of the diet amongst the various ethnicities of Nigeria, Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana, Cameroon and Liberia.
