Iran is the world's tenth-largest producer of grapes which has allocated 3.3% of the total wine in the world to itself. The most popular producer city of grapes in Iran is Malayer in the province of Hamedan. The grapes of Malayer are registered as fifty-third important agricultural heritage of the world and the city of Malayer is registered as a global city of grape.
