Presently, there are trees and fruits of it in different parts of Iran and some years they have large yields which are used as a fruit or dried up or turned to syrup and jam or used to make Albaloo polo or cherry stew.
Its nutritional value is not high, and a hundred grams of the cherry has only 70 calories.
It contains vitamins A, B and C. Minerals of cherry include iron, calcium, srus, chlorine, sulfur, magnesium, sodium, potassium, copper, zinc, manganese and cobalt.
