Traffic cone with alarm system
Traffic cone with alarm system(TAS)
TAS is a world first intrusion warning system(device) that can generate alarms of higher than 120dB using compressed air to facilitate road side safety awareness.
Witnessing a drowsy driving vehicle hitting a person working on a road construction site We wished that could have saved the life. Since then We have been motivated to come up with a device that can alarm people in advance.
TAS has a shock sensor to activate as low as 30km/h hit.
When the vehicle collides with the TAS, the alarm sounds more than 120 dB so that workers and the driver are well aware of the situation.
TAS, which is a hollow conical form, can be stacked up with other traffic cone.
The bottom plate embeds the air tank, air horn, pressure gauge, air inlet, and a mechanical shock sensor, which is a key component of TAS.
When moving or storing the TAS, be sure to turn the safety lever to the right direction locked state. The alarm function is activated only when the safety lever is turned to the left.
The safety lever does not move to the left or right when the air is exhausted.
To inflate the air, pull the lever outwards to hear clicking sound.
After being inflated, the safety lever moves smoothly to the left and right.
Once exhausted air can be filled with a car tire inflator or a bicycle pump.
Proper air pressure is 40-80 psi.
