Epoxy coated rebar is used in concrete structures that subjected to corrosive conditions, which may include exposure to deicing salts or marine environments.
This kind of rebar is coated with an organic coating know as fusion bonded powder epoxy which is applied by electrostatic spray.
It is widely recognized that the most effective solution to protect the concrete structures against corrosion and
increase its durability ely reis to use epoxy coated reinforcing bar.And it’s also very cost-effective,
it adds little to the overall cost of the concrete structure but life cycle analysis proves it to be the lowest cost alternative in corrosive environments.
