Engine Preheating System

Vehicle owners no longer have to put up with unresponsive engines caused by flat batteries. There will be no need for jumper cables, vehicle towing services or calling for the mechanic at odd hours. No longer will vehicle owners have to bear with uncomfortable heat or cold upon entering or having to wait for their vehicles to cool down in hot climates or heat up in winter before starting their journey. These are made possible with keyless activation, control and monitoring of designated vehicle engines from a remote location via 3G GSM auto controller devices.

For owners and users of both private and commercial premises, the 3G GSM auto controller and alarm devices activate or deactivate the air conditioning and other conveniences according to one's customised requirements before users or owners enter or leave.

The New Auto-Start Remote Control engine starter is the first and only known plug and play system that does not require any additional wiring within the engine compartment. The Auto-Start is a plugged-in modular unit utilising a pay-as-you-go SIM card that is connected to a pre-installed socket near the driver's side foot well.

The Auto-Start interfaces remotely with the alarm system and allows it to disarm whilst running and will rearm the vehicle once the run time has concluded.

The system allows pre-heating or pre-cooling of a vehicle prior to arrival of its users. It can also be utilised to power up the vehicle periodically to ensure optimum battery condition even when the vehicle is left idle for long periods. The auto-start function can also be used for pre-starting and activation of engines and generators for other modes of motorised transport, maritime vessels, aircraft and facilities control within premises among its many possibilities.

This nifty 3G GSM auto controller and alarm device comprises a mobile with an active SIM card and 2 x 30 amp relays. No additional wiring is required in the engine compartment. It has 2 independent switches that can be programmed to activate the designated vehicle engine for a pre-determined duration whenever the 3G GSM auto device is called.

For example: the mobile can be used to call the 3G GSM auto device while inside the vehicle. The user may opt to activate the engine for 10 minutes and then shut it down. The unit will send text messages (SMS) informing that the “engine started” and later with an “engine off” notification. This is especially convenient if the vehicle is parked at a remote location such as the airport, a rented parking lot or at home.  The vehicle owner is able to instruct the engine to run for 10 minutes daily to prevent a flat battery upon the owner's return.

Alternatively the switch can be permanently set to ‘on' or ‘off' by sending the 3G GSM auto controller and alarm device a text message. This function is useful during winter and/or summer as the air conditioning or heater system can be activated prior to the arrival of the vehicle's occupant(s).

The unit operates in an open mode whereby control is exercised by the user(s) with access and knowledge of the designated mobile  Under a secure mode, the unit will respond to calls from designated caller IDs of pre-programmed of up to 99 combinations.  Only programmed into the unit are able to call up the unit and execute appropriate commands to start up or shutdown the engine and manipulate other controls available within the vehicle.

This is a cost-effective device as no call charges are levied for every call. The unit will reject the call without answering and instead, comply with commands sent via authorised caller IDs.
