Manufacture polymersand production.

The production technology of polymer sand products is the preparation and molding

and a composite of sand, polymer and pigment into a finished product (tiles, paving slabs, paving stones, etc.).

You can use a room of 100-200 m2. The dimensions of the equipment for the production of polymer sand products are small, and allow it to be placed on smaller areas - about 75 m2, but you still need to have space for storing raw materials and finished polymer sand products. Ceiling height from 2.5-3 meters.

The capacity of the proposed ows to produce 25-60 m2 (1-2 presses) of polymer-sand tiles per shift (10 hours). All equipment is serviced by 2-3 people per shift. Part-time preferably an electrician with a permit.

Technical circulating water. During the summer period, additional cooling will be required, i.e. installation of radiators, a refrigeration unit or the use of underground water.

When located in the same production area, production areas of different hazards, measures should be taken to prevent the spread of harmful substances throughout the production area. The pressing and crushing area must be equipped with a local exhaust ventilation system to remove dust and harmful substances released during the melting of polymers.

• SAND Any kind of sand (river, quarry) is used in the technological process. It is desirable to use dry fine sand sifted without clay and dust inclusions. The color of the sand affects the color of the product. For tiles it is better to use quartz sand. Permissible sand fraction up to 3-4 mm. Other fillers, more readily available in the locality, may also be used, but before commercial use, it is necessary to investigate its effect on product quality. Use a sieving mesh with a mesh size of 2–4 mm.

• POLYMER We use waste polyethylene film PVD, HDPE, stretch, polypropylene, polystyrene.

It is not necessary to carry out a complete cleaning and deep sorting of the polymer, only we adhere to the ratio of 40-50 / 60-50 soft (polyethylene ...) and hard (polypropylene, polystyrene, ...) polymers. There are no special requirements for polymer purity. It is desirable that there is no oil, especially dark, otherwise there may be dark tints on the products.

We strongly do not recommend using PVC (window polymer)!!!

• DYE The recommended color is an iron oxide pigment of inorganic origin.
