Pneumatic Globe Valve
A pneumatic globe valve is a specific type of control valve that employs compressed air or gas to regulate the flow of fluids within a system. This type of valve combines the features of a globe valve, known for its precise control capabilities, with pneumatic actuation for automated and responsive operation.
The primary purpose of a pneumatic globe valve is to manage and adjust the flow rate, pressure, or level of fluids in a controlled manner. By utilizing pneumatic pressure, these valves can be controlled remotely and integrated into automated systems, allowing for accurate and dynamic adjustments based on input span>
What is a globe valve?
Throttling globe valves use tion to move the closing member in and out of the seat surface. Their bodies feature a srical cavity around the port area and are designed to regulate the process flow when used in conjunction with an actuator assembly. Many single-seat valve bodies use a cage or cage-type construction to hold the seat ring in place, provide plug guidance, and provide a means of establishing specific valve flow characteristics. Cage or cage type single seat valve bodies can also be easily modified by replacing the valve internals to change the flow characteristics or provide reduced capacity flow, noise attenuation, or to reduce or eliminate cavitation.
