3-stase and dual-specificity protein stase PTEN) ELISA Kit is an ELISA reagent for detection PTEN (stidylinositol-3,4,5-trisste 3-stase and dual-specificity protein stase PTEN) in Human serum, plasma or with sensitivity, specificity and consistency. stase and tensin homolog (PTEN) is a stase, in humans, is encoded by the PTEN gene. Mutations of this gene are a step in the
development of many cancers, specifically glioblastoma, lung cancer, breast
cancer, and prostate cancer. Genes corresponding to PTEN (orthologs)
have been identified in most mammals for which complete genome data are
available.
PTEN acts as a tumor suppressor gene through the action of its stase
protein product. This stase is involved in the regulation of the cycle,
preventing from growing and dividing too rapidly.[8] It is a target of many
anticancer drugs.
This kit uses sandwich ELISA to detect the concentration of
PTENÂ (stidylinositol-3,4,5-trisste 3-stase and dual-specificity
protein stase PTEN). The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been
pre-coated with an antibody specific to PTEN (stidylinositol-3,4,5-trisste 3-stase and dual-specificity protein stase PTEN). Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells then with a biotin-conjugated antibody
specific to PTEN (stidylinositol-3,4,5-trisste 3-stase and
dual-specificity protein stase PTEN). Next, Avidin conjugated to
Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated.
After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain PTEN(stidylinositol-3,4,5-trisste 3-stase and dual-specificity
protein stase PTEN), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm.
The concentration of PTEN (stidylinositol-3,4,5-trisste
3-stase and dual-specificity protein stase PTEN) in the samples
is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
