Expanded polystyrene (EPS) is a rigid closed-thermoplastic foam material produced from solid polystyrene beads that are polymerized from styrene monomer and contain an expanding gas (pentane) dissolved in the polystyrene bead.
Common thicknesses include:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 cm
