âI got a refurbished small form factor PC and put in a video card with a low profile bracket. Unfortunately, the case had a protrusion on the outside that seemed to be part of a screwless-slot assembly. The heads on the other HDMI cables I had were too bulky and wouldnât fit into the HDMI port on the video card because of said protrusion.
The head on this cable is very compact and fit in this tight space so I can use the HDMI port on the video card. The cord itself is thin and flexible too, so it would probably be good for tight spaces against the back as well, like a mounted TV, but that wasnât my use.
The cable itself works fine, no problems with video or audio. I used 1080p and lower and PCM audio, but no other features like networking.â
âNeeded an extra HDMI cable and bought this one. Product was nicely packaged upon arrival. I was looking for something on the slimmer side because most of the other ones were bulkier so this definitely matched what I needed. It was easier to move the wiring around. I used this to connect my 60â² TV to a few of my other devices and had no issues with the âspeedâ or anything. The display and sound was still great. The same as all my other pricier HDMI cables. Good buy and will purchase another if needed.â
âThis hdmi cable saved my project. I was trying to run the cables through the wall for a cleaner look when the the project was halted by the fire block. Yeah that piece of wood that runs between the studs ruined the joy I had thinking my project was gonna be a 15 minute thing. I tried drilling through it with a flex shaft, a 90° adapter, n a couple of other ways to no avail. I had been taking pictures with my to get a peek in to what was going on inside the wall and through this I realized that my only chance was gonna come through the little .4â³ gap between the fire block and the sheet rock. Thatâs where this hdmi cable saved the day. It was slim enough to run through that gap easily. When I saw how well that worked I followed suit with the optical cable n voila problem solved. This cable works great and is connecting the ps4 to the tv flawlessly. I highly recommend it.â
âI like how slim the cord is which makes it significantly less bulky when traveling. Iâm in hotels a lot for work, and itâs a lot nicer to have this cable than my older HDMI cord thatâs about twice as thick (and broke haha).
When I first plugged it in, the be messed up, but it fixed itself after I wiggled the cord and hasnât done it since. Iâll update this review if this ends up being a cheap cable with a short lifespan, but so far it works.â
âAt $8 for two 10ft cables, this price is hard to beat. I was specifically looking for a set of *thin* HDMI cables, and these certainly fit the bill. I was concerned they might be stiff, but they just arrived today and are quite flexible. The fact that this also includes three cable ties and a 90-degree adapter (which could be $8 on its own) makes this a no-brainer. Iâm very happy with this purchase.
The HDMI connector took a bit of force to fully plug in, but this might be because it is brand new. I expect after unplugging the cable and plugging it back in a few times itâll loosen up to more of what Iâd expect.
I got 1080p @ 60Hz when testing with my Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. I also tested with my MacBook Pro and got 3840Ã2160 @ 30Hz. I tried another HDMI cable and it was also 4K at only 30 Hz, so that might be a limitation of my laptop or TV.â
