The Nara plant, found only in the dry desert region along Namibia's Atlantic coastduces nutritious fruits considered a delicacy by the Topnaar people. The seeds of the Nara fruit are harvested, dried, and packed by traditional stock farmers in scattered villages along the Kuiseb river. The project helps provide a steady income for the Topnaar people by actively supporting this production. Cold-pressed Nara seed oil is rich in Omega 6, traditionally used for wound healing and skin protection. Its high Omega 6 content also aids in regenerating dry, sensitive skin.
