1. The shaft is too long. Because the pump shaft is very long, it is easy for the slurry pump to vibrate due to insufficient rigidity, excessive deflection, poor straightness of the shaft system, etc., causing collision and friction between the transmission shaft and the sliding bearing. If the pump shaft is too long, it will be greatly affected by the water hammer flowing in the pool, which will increase the vibration of the underwater part of the pump. If the gap of the balance plate of the pump shaft is too large, or the axial working movement is improperly adjusted, it will also cause low-frequency vibration of the shaft. This results in overall vibration of the slurry pump.

2. The foundation and pump bracket are not fixed properly. The fixing form between the drive device frame and the foundation is not good, and the pump foundation and motor system have poor ability to absorb, transmit, and isolate vibrations, resulting in excessive vibrations in the foundation and motor, and the small pump foundation is loose. Or the site where the slurry pump is used is too harsh, and the foundation stiffness is weakened by oil immersion and water bubbles.
