Casing Head

1. Scope of application

Casing head is a component that connects casing and various wellhead devices. It is used to support the gravity of the technical casing and productive casing and seal the annular space between the layers. It provides a transition connection for the installation of upper wellhead devices such as blowout preventer, tubing head and tree, and through two side openings on the casing head body, the cement can be replenished and compacted, well sinking and injection of balancing fluid can be monitored.

The casing head manufactured by our company is of standard construction. The casing hanger of our company is installed in the casing body, and different specifications of casing hanger can be selected according to the casing program and wellhead conditions. The upper part of the body is API 6B flange or API 6BX flange.

2. Connection Type

(1)The lower connection of casing head can be divided into API standard circular thread socket connection or API standard partial trapezoidal thread socket connection. It can also be inserted using welded socket connection or slip type socket connection.

(2) Soldering type support chassis is available

(3) Two types of side outlet: pipe thread type and outlet is manufactured with RI½″female thread for valve changer.
