The three groups of rolls of the rolling mill are all active, which are directly driven by the three main shafts of the headstock through universal joints. The three groups of rolls form 120 ° to each other. To facilitate manufacturing, each group of rolls is composed of separate roll discs. Three groups of roll discs are staggered by one third of the pitch of each corresponding disc along the axis direction, and each pair of roll discs and the axis direction twist a helix angle, so that the rolled spiral wing tube can be pushed forward along the axis.Â
Each roll disc is divided into three parts according to the deformation needs of the aluminum tube: the bite part, the rolling section and the wing extrusion part. The tube blank finally meets the design requirements through these three steps.
