CFF-S is a range of new generation silicon carbide based ceramic foam filters with a consistent, high level performance in terms of metal flow rate and filtration efficiency. CFF-S filters are intended for filtering grey, ductile iron and nonferrous metals at the temperatures up to 1480 °C. The filters can be placed in the gating system of the mould as well as in combination with exothermic extensions for direct casting. They can also be used for continuous nonferrous metal filtering, e.g. casting of copper bars in CONTIROD or SCR TECHNOLOGY.CFF-S are available in many standard and custom sizes, shapes, and pore sizes.
