Like the standard Addict, the Addict eRide 30 is made with Scott’s HMX carbon fiber. This is the lightest material available and the same carbon that is used to create Scott’s tour level road bikes. HMX carbon ensures an incredibly lightweight ride despite its classification of an eBike. The drive unit itself is lightweight as well, onto the hub, nearly invisibly from a distance. Overall, the bike comes in at just 10.75kg, on par with some standard road bikes. Nearly indistinguishable at first glance from the traditional Addict, this is the eBike for cycling purists. The driving force behind the Scott Addict eRide 30 is its Mahle Motor Hub drive motor.
