PINARELLO BOLIDE TR FRAMESET

The bottom bracket on the Bolide TR was moved down 8mm for a lower center of gravity, giving its rider even more stability and pedaling power. Moving the seat tube angle forward by 78 degrees further improves the pedaling efficiency.

A lack of UCI to worry about opened the door for Pinarello to push aerodynamic limits. Spending hours on end testing this bike in the CFD simulator helped engineers come up with optimal frame shape. Average wind speed and dynamics from previous Kona races were used in these simulations for real-life application. Eventually, they settled on a concave downtube and a sloping top tube. A longer fork creates better air flow around the frame while simultaneously improving your handling ability.
