Ball radial single row bearings are the most common type of bearings. This applicability of single-row deep groove ball bearings can be explained by the simplicity of their design and manufacture.
Deep-groove single-row ball bearings can handle radial loads, and with increased radial clearances, they can also handle axial loads in both directions. When installing bearings of this type in units and mechanisms, small distortions are possible (usually up to 3`). With an increased radial clearance, this figure can be higher, up to 5'. However, it should be noted that such distortions often cause premature failure of the bearing due to asymmetric load distribution on the raceways of the rings, thereby reducing the uptime of the bearing at the place of application.
