Characteristics and Purposes
ï The micronized wax PTFE-0104A has very
good heat resistance and lubricity that can be
used in engineering plastics, lubricating oil and
grease, non-stick coatings, cable and other
industries.
ï Can provide the products with very low friction
coefficient when added into coatings and inks,
PTFE-0104A has exnt abrasion and scratch
resistance and sliding property. This product has
exnt sliding degree in the coating and
printing ink.
ï Its molecular weight is usually one percent of
the commonly used PTFE resin, it not only
keep the original exnt properties, but also
has the advantages of high crystallization degree,
good dispersion, and easy to mix with other
materials.
ï In powder coating application, the
micronized PTFE provides a distinct
performance on scratch resistance.
ï In paints and printing inks applications,
PTFE-0104A provides an exnt
smoothness (slip). In printing inks, an
additional amount of 0.1% ~ 3% can
significantly improve the sliding
properties of ink, and can enhance the
scratch resistance in printing products; it
can avoid the adhesion of the paper
products.
ï This product is compliance with new
regulation of PFOA free rules (<25ppb).
Contents and Methods of Use
ï In a variety of systems, the additional
amount of the micronized PTFE is
generally between 0.1to 3%.
ï Usually by a direct high-speed stirring, it
can disperse in solvent-based coatings and
printing inks.
