The Rotor R-Hawk Crankarms are the showcase components of a crank system that is lighter, stiffer, and more flexible than anything else youâve seen in the all mountain and enduro realm before. They are similar to the R-Raptor, save one big difference. Theyâre lighter, thanks to full-length Trinity drilling of the arms. This is a longitudinal boring of three full-length holes inside the arms. Weight for the R-Hawk, with 175mm arms and standard thru-axle and 30T Q-Ring is 665g.
The R-Hawk refers to the two crankarms of the set. To finish the set, youâll need an axle (the Hawk/Rotor axle, in both standard and Boost), chainrings (1x only with options for both round and Q-ring), and potentially crankarm bumpers. All of which R&A has.
The arms are, like most of Rotorâs products, extensively CNC-machined aluminum. The alloy used is 7055They come with crankarm fixing bolts installed
The arms come in three lengths: 165, 170, and 175mm
These arms attach to a 30mm diameter spindle that can work with nearly any bottom bracket standard that works with 30mm spindles, including English-threaded bottom brackets of any width. The one bottom bracket standard it wonât work with is Trekâs BB95.
The Rotor R-Hawk Crankarms are the showcase of an incredible crankset.
