Description:Pure glutaral is colorless and transparent oily liquid with 25~50% hydrate and a little irritant bad fruit odor. Easily soluble in water, soluble in ethyl alcohol, diethyl ether and other organic solvents. It can be used in leather tanning agent, sterilization and protein fixator. It is specifically used in leather; industrial water treatment; papermaking; oilfield and other fields.

uses:

Glutaral solution has the strongest bactericidal activity at 7.5-8.5. Because the product contains two aldehyde groups, it can kill bacterial propagules, fungi, viruses and spores. It can be applied to make food fresh. Use the diluting agent to spray into the surface of the fruit.

Glutaraldehyde solution is most stable at and unstable at -8, so it should be kept acidic when stored and adjusted to neutral or alkare use.
