It is also capable of data logging where every visitor’s temperature is logged into the dashboard whenever the device is in use and all this information is accessible on the cloud. Thermal guns rely on a person handling the device while the device is in use, risking both personnel & visitor on possible chances of transmission of infection. Again, this is not a device glitch as the device is built for industrial applications, not for fever scanning. Plus, the device performance is affected by the ambient temperature, thereby compromising on the screening aspects.

Thermal imaging as a product might relate to SENS in the purpose of thermal screening, but the technology is completely different from SENS as thermal imaging involves the use of thermal cameras to identify the temperature.
