It can be used for antiseptic cleansing of minor wounds caused by cuts, bites, grazes, insect stings and for personal hygiene. 2. BEFORE YOU USE DETTOL ANTISEPTIC DISINFECTANT 4.8%w/v CONCENTRATE for CUTANEOUS SOLUTION ï‚· For external use only. ï‚· Do not swallow. ï‚· Do not use on eczema or similar skin conditions. ï‚· Do not use if you are allergic to Chloroxylenol or any of the ingredients. ï‚· Do not use after the expiry date printed on the bottle. ï‚· Not recommended for use around cats. 3. HOW TO USE DETTOL ANTISEPTIC DISINFECTANT 4.8%w/v CONCENTRATE for CUTANEOUS SOLUTION Do not use undiluted. FOR WOUND CLEANING: Wash the affected area with one large spoonful (12.5ml) of Dettol Antiseptic Disinfectant Concentrate diluted to a half pint (1/4 litre) of water. Cover with a dry gauze or lint. PERSONAL HYGIENE: Douching (when medically advised): 2 teaspoonfuls in 2 pints of warm water. Dandruff: 1 tablespoon to 1 pint of warm water. Pour over scalp, leave for 10mins before shampooing. Spots and pimples: 1 tablespoonful in half pint of warm water. Bathe affected area daily. If swallowed, wash out mouth and drink plenty of water or milk. If is made with the eyes, wash them thoroughly with cold water. In both cases, consult your doctor and take this bottle with you. 4.
