Sapropels - (BIO HUMUS / HUMUS SOIL) are centuries-old bottom sediments of freshwater reservoirs, which were formed from dead aquatic vegetation, the remains of living organisms, plankton, as well as particles of soil humus containing a large amount of organic matter and humus. Sapropel, in addition to various organic compounds, contains almost the entire complex of minerals, trace necessary for the growth of crops, and at the same time they are all completely absorbed by plants. This compares favorably with sapropels from a complex of loose mineral fertilizers - nitrogen-srus-potash, a large part of which remains in the soil and is then washed into ground and surface waters.
