Charcoal is a lightweight black carbon residue produced by strongly heating wood so as to drive off all water and other volatile constituents. When properly processed like the ones we export, it doesn't bring smoke but burns fine. Charcoal has a variety of uses. For instance, it's used in outdoor cooking and barbeques, and it's also used for heating household during winter among other uses. It has been reported that foods made over charcoal tastes better than using gas or electricity.
