Actovegin - antihypoxant (reduces the severity of oxygen starvation of tissues).

Actovegin is a deproteinized hemoderivative from calf blood that contains only siological substances with a molecular weight of less than 5,000 daltons.

Actovegin has three main effects: metabolic, neuroprotective and microcirculatory. Inositol ste oligosaccharides (IFOs), which are part of Actovegin, are responsible for improving the utilization and absorption of oxygen, as well as for improving energy metabolism and glucose absorption. This action has the potential to benefit lesions or damage to tissues and organs, particularly the brain, and reduce lactate production.

Indication:

treatment of cerebral diseases of vascular origin, including post-stroke cognitive impairment and dementia;
