Thick Film Resistors (TFRs) are variable resistors used to measure the level of fuel in connection with an electrical display unit (Analog or Digital). These are often called Thick Film Resistor Card or Fuel Level Sensors. Fuel level sensors for automotive vehicles include a Potentiometer (POT) connected to an electrical gauge unit which supplies current to the resistor. Thick film resistors (TFRs) are produced by applying a Resistive paste, Glass paste and conductive paste on a flat ceramic substrate. Thick Film Resistors (TFRs) are highly reliable than Thin film resistors
