Rifeng® F is a closed-rigid foam base on Polymethacrylimide (PMI) polymer, that is completely free of CFC’s. It's with fine Size.

Based on the Rifeng® W, keeping the premise of exnt mechanics property, Rifeng® F particularly fined size, to ensure the minimum possible uptake of resin, which allows the end weight of the component to remain extremely low. And problem-free compatibility with metallic facing materials due to the absence of corrosive effects. The thermal and thermomechanical properties of the rigid foam are otherwise similar to Rifeng® W.

The extremely fine-d material is used for infusion components in aeronautic and aerospace applications, as well as in sports equipment and in automotive construction.

Moreover, with its extremely low dielectric constants and particularly favorable transmission properties in the high frequency region. Rifeng® F is also used in antenna, radomes, and X-Ray / CT table tops.

Processing and Production

Rifeng® F foam is suitable for most common curing processes,such as hand lay-up, prepreg processing RTM and vacuum infusion at temperatures up to 130 °C ~ 150°C, and maximum pressure up to 0.5MPa.

Weight Saving

When building composite sandwich components, lightweight Rifeng® F has a closed structure that ensures the resin stays exactly where you want it – in the interface. This eliminates excess and unnecessary resin that adds undesirable weight to the finished part.

Thermoforming and Shaping

Rifeng® F can be easily thermoformed or CNC machined to meet customer requirements. High precision, pre-shaped and ready-to-use foam cores in simple or complex geometries can also be supplied by us.
