Rifeng® W is a closed-rigid PMI foam base on Polymethacrylimide (PMI) polymer, that is completely free of CFC's. It's with Medium Size.

Rifeng® W is the industrial grade product in our range of rigid foams. With outstanding mechanical strength and is suitable for a wide variety of applications. Such as aerospace industry, UAV(unmanned aerial vehicle), radomes, automotive industry, shipbuilding and other industrial applications. Moreover, in the medical technology application, Rifeng® W is a common core material for X-ray and CT table tops.

The high density Rifeng® W PMI foam core material suitable for underwater buoyancy materials.

Processing and Production

Rifeng® W is suitable for fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) prepreg processing, but it is also ideal for use in resin infusion and RTM processes up to temperatures of 130°C-150°C. compatible with other common processes.

Weight Saving

Rifeng® W featuring a fine structure, make sure it takes up minimal resin at the surface where the have been cut open during core shaping. Less resin take-up during part processing means lower final part weight and reduced overall cost.

Thermoforming and Shaping

Rifeng® W can be easily thermoformed or CNC machined to meet customer requirements. High precision, pre-shaped and ready-to-use foam cores in simple or complex geometries can also be supplied by us.
