Typical material properties for 6082 aluminum alloy include weldability, brazability, solderability se well as machinability. Besides, alloy 6082 is a medium strength alloy with exnt corrosion resistance. So various commercial joining methods (welding, brazing, etc.) can be easily applied to 6082 alloy. Since 6082 is a heat treatable alloy, strength will be reduced in the weld region. 6082 aluminum sheet and plate are typically formed by rolling.
