INTENSIVE EXFOLIATING MASK

Intensive Exfoliating Peeling Mask, designed to reveal glowing, youthful-looking skin by gently removing dead skin on the surface. The action of carefully selected and honed composition reduces the visibility of fine gives the skin a radiant, fresh appearance. Gentle acids from Hibiscus Flower Extract mildly break up the bonds holding in the dead skin in outer layer of the skin together, helping to naturally reveal the glowing, youthful new skin layer beneath. Fruit Extracts (peach, apple and raspberry) are also loaded with antioxidants to help protect newly revealed skin.

Instructions for use: apply once weekly, to clean skin of the face and neck (use of L'Abelâge Deep Cleansing Facial Gel recommended for cleaning), avoiding the delicate area around the eyes and massage gently with circular motions. Leave on the skin for a period of 1 to 5 minutes, optionally massaging for better effect. After 1 to 5 minutes, rinse off with copious amount of water.

Throughout life, various factors can cause skin hyperpigmentation and lead to the appearance of dark spots (ageing, UV, hormones, etc.). Pigmentation is the result of melanin, eumelanin and omelanin synthesis (in melanosomes of the melanocyte). The key enzyme in this process is tyrosinase.

FLOWER ACIDS COS is obtained from Hibiscus sabdariffa chalices, originate from Senegal. H. sabdariffa, a subtropical Malvaceae, is traditionally used in African medicine for its diuretic, refreshing and antiseptic properties. It is also consumed as acidulate drink showing that it is well tolerate. H. sabdariffa is also registered in the 6th European rmacopeia for its richness in organic acids (citric, malic, and tartric acid), in keto-acids (pyruvic acid) and in cyclic acids (hibiscic acid). After a discoloration treatment, the aqueous extract is concentrated in acids and is titrated at 10-15% in

total organic acids.
