These extruders are targeted to enhance the sical and chemical functions of plastic polymers such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS) etc.<br /><br />Pigment, calcium carbonate and many other additives are compounded with the base polymers when the twin screws rotate in the same direction to make master batches. In this sense, the co-rotating twin screw extruders are also referred to as twin screw compounders.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> The raw material is fed into the extruder through a volumetric feeder or loss-in-weight feeder. Then it moves ahead and gradually gets melted. All the ingredients in the raw material are uniformly dispersed and distributed by the rotating of intermeshed twin screws. Meanwhile, contaminants or moisture inside the raw material will be vacuumed out during the process, which greatly improves the quality of final products.<br /><br /> The twin screw extruder, as an exnt plastics compounding machine, should be used together with other auxiliary plastics equipments such as strand pelletizer, water ring pelletizer, air cooling pelletizer, eccentric pelletizer and underwater pelletizer to finish the process of most kinds of polymeric materials.<br /><br /> In addition, with the help of gear pump, a twin screw extruder can also be used for direct extrusions of sheet, of HDPE pipe and of profile without pre-granulation.<br /><br /> <br /><br />We have been exploiting new solutions for recycling of plastics.<br /><br /> We keep widening the application range of a twin screw extruder. Based on the above, we have developed this twin screw extruding machine to recycle plastics directly from plastics wastes. The raw material is mixture of shredded PP and PE wastes, and the final product is well extruded profile.
