StorageThe product must be stored in its original packaging at a temperature between 4 and 25 °C until the time of use. Do not overheat or freeze prior to use.

Instructions for UseProper collection of the specimen from the patient is a crucial aspect for successful isolation and ientification of infectious organisms. Specimens should be collected as soon as possible after the clinical onset of disease. Highest viral titers are present during the acute illness.1. Peel open sterile pouch containing swabs.2. Remove swab from the pouch and collect specimen. Ensure the applicator tip only touches the suspected infectious area to minimize potential contamination.3. After opening the cap and put the swab specimen into the transport medium, carefully break the swab shaft against the breakpoint using hands and discard the top portion of swab without a splash.4. Recap the transport medium tube tightly.5. Record the name of specimen, sex, age, date, etc.** If processing is delayed (over 72 hours), the specimens must be frozen at -70°C or colder.
