IDENTIFICATIONA. Solution S (see Tests) gives reaction of sultes.B. Dissolve 50 mg in 5 ml of water. Add 0.5 ml of ammonium sulde solution. A pale pink precipitate is formed which dissolves on the addition of 1 ml of anhydrous acetic acid.C. Loss on ignition (see Tests).
