Xiangyu lipase is a kind of enzyme preparation obtained from the submerged fermentation of the high lipase-producing microbial strain Aspergillus niger. It is especially designed for animal feed additives.

The amount of enzyme needed to liberate 1 umole fatty acid from triglyceride in one minute at 7.5 and at 40°C is defined as 1 unit of Lipase and marked with u/g.

III. Characteristics:

1. Lipase is an enzyme necessary for the absorption and digestion of nutrients by microorganisms and higher organisms. This enzyme is responsible for breaking down lipids (fats), in particular triglycerides into diglycerides, monoglycerides, free fatty acids and glycerol.
