High quality duralumin aluminum 2A12
2A12 aluminum alloy is a high-strength duralumin aluminum, can be heat strengthened; 2A12 aluminum alloy spot welding is good, there has a tendency to forme the intercrystalking by oxyacetylene welding and argon arc welding time; 2A12 aluminum alloy after strain hardening its machinabiliity still good. Corrosion resistance is not high, and often with anodic oxidation and painted or sadded clad layer method on surface in order to improve corrosion resistance.
2A12 aluminum is used mainly for the production of high-load parts and components (but not including stampings forgings) such as skeletal parts on the plane,
skins, bulkheads, wing ribs, trailer wheel, spars, rivets and other working parts below 150 ℃.
