Distribution network automation metering and control terminal is smart terminal equipment designed for distribution network operation management, which is extensively used in the application of RMU, subsectioning post, switching station, column switch and others. It is mainly used to complete the switchgear local monitoring, control and protection function, and serves as communication repeater and area control center, provided with powerful communication and information disposal function.
Metering and control function:
The terminal provides multi-loop total parameters monitoring suitable for column switch and subsectioning post RMU, including voltage, current, zero sequence, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor and frequency; The terminal is provided with harmonic wave analysis and se angle calculation function, for the client to customize relevant sical channels through maintenance software; The terminal is provided with remote equivalent capacity, with the input type customizable (single point remote input, pulse input and etc), as well as large size sequence of event record (SOE). Software-configurable remote hake time and SOE capacity; The terminal is provided with remote control of equivalent capacity, to receive the remote control order from the master station, complete the operation of breaker control or load switch andother equipment. Software-configurable output closing time; Local operation pushbuttons may be provided as per the clientâs requirements; The above measurement and calculation values may be uploaded to the upper master station through teletransmission channel. Relevant data may be processed locally, such as telemetering multiplying factor, telemetering negation and remote control rejection.Â
Communication management and area control function;
The terminal is provided with powerful communication management functions.  The unit is provided with multiple RS232/485 channels and double Ethernet accesses.   The unit supports simultaneous operations of multiple channels and multiple telecontrol protocols, with the channels to be configured with protocols in flexible manners, where any smart equipment may be connected under every channel flexibly to provide negation, multiplying factor and other raw data processing capacity, which simultaneously supports any customized data retransmission of data item or with the equipment configured as a set.
Feeder automation function (FA)
The fault detection is based on the loop lizing three-stage overcurrent detection, zero current detection, fault tripping, primary switch reclosing (optional), overload alarm (optional), PT broken age loss alarm (optional) and other functions, supporting fault recording, where the fault information will be uploaded via traditional virtual remote and dedicated fault information channel.
Smart power supply function
Supporting colloid storage battery, lithium battery and super-capacitor and multiple backup power source modes, with complete storage battery operation control and maintenance functions;Â Â Â The terminal may be switched to back-up source in seamless manners when the main power supply is lost, provided with storage battery intelligent charging and excitation management functions; and the unit power source may be cut off automatically when the voltage is lower than undervoltage alarm threshold value.
